Grand Vase De La Cristallerie De Portieux, George Sand model, early 20th century

Elegant, large antique pressed glass vase from the Portieux crystal works (1705-2012), George Sand model, turquoise blue bowl and amber base with ram's head. The George Sand model, signed Portieux, was pressed around 1900. Founded in 1705, the crystal works has worked for the most prestigious tables over the centuries, for Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, writer George Sand and the Ritz.
