Beautiful terracotta with bronze patina, a superb reproduction of the famous discovery by Greek fishermen near Marathon that shook the art world: a youthful statue of incomparable beauty that can almost certainly be attributed to Praxiteles. This is probably the Hermes that seduces posterity. The original is in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens.
